MA (Mental Health Practitioner)
As a counseling professional, I believe there are no one-size fits all treatments, when it comes to mental wellness. I seek to create a safe, non-judgmental environment in which my clients can explore their thoughts and feelings. I am passionate about using a holistic approach to create an individualized treatment plan, to tackle common mental health challenges.
This approach encompasses the needs of the whole person, not just the behavior or symptoms. An example of tailored intervention could include the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Therapy (Meditation), Yoga, Nutrition, and Massage in order to meet my client’s overall goals of wellness. Additionally, I utilize my strengths of compassion, patience, and an empathic listening to guide and educate my clients on their journey of reconnection and restored balance in their lives.
